Tzatziki sauce - Recipe

  • Yogurt (Thick)

    1 lb
  • Garlic

    4 cloves
  • Cucumbers (diced or grated)

    1/2 cup
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil

    1 tbsp
  • Lemon Juice

    1 tbsp

Cooking Directions:

Prepare all the ingredients in advance. Combine oil and lemon juice in a medium bowl.

Add the yogurt and stir slowly, making sure it mixes completely with the oil.

Add the minced garlic, according to taste, and the grated cucumber. Stir until evenly distributed.

Garnish with a bit of green and serve well chilled.


For faster results you can mix all the ingredients with a blender. Tzatziki is a cooling yogurt sauce. Try it with pita bread or to match your meat dishes
